Happy Birthday Brian! He'll be 31 tomorrow!
We had a potluck/bbq on Friday to celebrate. Yummy guacamole, hotdogs, fruit salad, rice crispee treats, fresh garden kale and sugar peas.
He's wanted a bike for a long time. So a few weeks ago, we went down to Recycled Cycles and got him a bike! He rides it to work downtown. He fell off of it for the first time last week. His elbow now has a manly scrape and bruise.

Hey, that's a beauty of a bike - nice find! Happy late birthday (and anniversary, too, I see) - your blog has some great photos. I started bike commuting about 4 years ago, and I just love it!
Okay, my mandatory speech for new bikers: did you buy a helmet, lights & a GOOD lock (no cable locks please!! and don't ever leave your lights on your bike, as they will get stolen)? Lecture over - enjoy your new ride, it looks like a fun bike! You'll have to bring it down to Portland sometime - it's a great place to bike.
