Lots of fun stuff this weekend.

* Marathon training at Gas Works Park
* Climbing with Brian and Brit- Brian's been climbing a bit. He's gotten comfortable belaying and climbing 5.7's
* Rat City Roller Girls- I saw the last bout at Magneson Park a few weeks ago with Brit. Awesome! Lots of families and roller skates and shoving and theatrics.
*Working at Stone Gardens
*Potluck at our house on Sunday for Brian's APA mtg

Photo is University Bridge as it opens for a boat. It goes up about a billion times a day. I work right by it and I love hearing the approaching boats signal to the drawbridge keeper.

Our first wedding anniversary!

Yes, I realize it was June 3. But it's still June!

Brian was in the middle of finals on that Sunday so I went camping with my girlfriends near Rainier. I came home and we went out for sushi on Lake Union. And we saved room for dessert. My folks saved the top part of the wedding cake and had kept it in their freezer for a year (thank you!). A week before our anniversary, they shipped it in dry ice.

That thing was huge. It took us a full 10 days to eat it all. Mmmmmm butter cream frosting....

And Brian got me (us) a climbing rope. It's a 10mm and shiny and has pretty colors.

Happy Birthday Brian! He'll be 31 tomorrow!

We had a potluck/bbq on Friday to celebrate. Yummy guacamole, hotdogs, fruit salad, rice crispee treats, fresh garden kale and sugar peas.

He's wanted a bike for a long time. So a few weeks ago, we went down to Recycled Cycles and got him a bike! He rides it to work downtown. He fell off of it for the first time last week. His elbow now has a manly scrape and bruise.
